"I didn't choose this work. This work chose me — through the hardest years of my life. Everything I teach, I have lived. Every wound I help men heal, I have bled from myself."
— Orlando Owen

Orlando Owen — Live on Stage
Born in Europe, Orlando grew up in a household defined by power, secrets, and an absent father — a top-100 global business executive who was rarely home. This absence planted the seed of the question that would define his life's work: What does it mean to be a man?

In his 20s and 30s, Orlando achieved extraordinary material success — becoming a sought-after photographer, earning millions, living the playboy lifestyle. But inside, he was empty. A series of devastating losses — financial ruin, the death of his mother — brought him to his knees. Living in the Arizona desert, working three jobs, he began the real work.

Drawing from Jungian psychology, shamanic traditions, Robert Bly's Iron John, neuroplasticity research, and his own hard-won experience, Orlando developed a unique approach to masculine transformation. Not therapy. Not pickup. Something entirely different.

The Sedona Challenge became legendary — men gathering in the Arizona red rocks for intensive outdoor work, ceremony, and brotherhood. The cave sessions, the circle on the mesa, the hikes through the desert — these became the crucible where men were truly forged.

For over a decade, Orlando has been coaching men through MagickMale and WeMakeMen — in workshops, online programs, and one-on-one intensives. Over 10,000 men across three continents have gone through his work. He is now based in Florida.

Therapy explores and analyzes. Orlando's work transforms. The Kugel method releases emotional energy at the cellular level — not just the cognitive level.
Techniques and tactics are symptoms of a deeper problem. Orlando goes to the root — your inner game, your self-worth, your masculine identity.
Motivation is temporary. Transformation is permanent. The work done in Orlando's programs creates lasting neurological change — not temporary inspiration.
Every culture throughout history had initiation rites for boys becoming men. This work recreates that initiation in a modern context — with real results.
